Born and raised in Kiel, Germany, I now live here again with my family while working at Kiel University as a researcher and lecturer in public economics. Although I’m back in my hometown, my journey has taken me across the globe—I’ve lived, studied, and worked in some truly remarkable places, including Sydney, San Diego, Cape Town, and Copenhagen. After experiencing these cities, I chose to return to Kiel, appreciating its unique charm among the world’s many beautiful places.
